Biketoberfest Exceeds Expectations!

Biketoberfest was a great success with over 2,500 people celebrating bikes on a beautiful Indian Summer day. Eel River Brewing won the Audience Choice Award. There were over 50 bicycle vendors, great food and the Monophonics rocked the house!

Jones Demo Bikes at Biketoberfest

I talked with Jeff Jones today and he confirmed he’ll be heading down to Biketoberfest with demo bikes, so you may have a chance to ride a 3D SpaceFrame on the trails in Marin!

It's a high performance non-suspension bicycle... I wanted this bike to be better for technical and distance riding. My bike has a slacker seat-tube and a shorter top-tube than 'normal' bikes... Slacker angles keep the rider's weight off the hands and makes the front end easy to lift; the center of gravity is moved back and down for more control, with less shock to the upper body, more traction under braking, and a bike that is much harder to endo. This bike feels quick but also has a laid back feel. It's the best handling bike I've designed. - Jeff Jones
