Marin Bikes plans to have a booth at Biketoberfest, be sure and stop by and say hi!

Sunshine Bicycles and Mike’s Bikes have contributed a Cannondale Rize 5 (worth $1900) as the grand prize in the Biketoberfest Drawing. There will be drawings for all kinds of swag throughout the day and at 5 pm we’ll give away this beautiful 5 inch travel trail bike!

Bike-RX has confirmed they will have a booth at Biketoberfest. The southern Marin bike shop prides itself on a partnership between rider and bike. They specialize in custom bikes and great service for the enthusiast and racer. I talked with Jeff Jones today and he confirmed he’ll be heading down to Biketoberfest with demo bikes, so you may have a chance to ride a 3D SpaceFrame on the trails in Marin!

It's a high performance non-suspension bicycle... I wanted this bike to be better for technical and distance riding. My bike has a slacker seat-tube and a shorter top-tube than 'normal' bikes... Slacker angles keep the rider's weight off the hands and makes the front end easy to lift; the center of gravity is moved back and down for more control, with less shock to the upper body, more traction under braking, and a bike that is much harder to endo. This bike feels quick but also has a laid back feel. It's the best handling bike I've designed. - Jeff Jones
